PRAYING FOR WISDOM FROM ABOVE

PRAYING FOR WISDOM FROM ABOVE Join Paul and Daniel in marveling at God’s wisdom : “Oh, the depth of the riches and wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are His judgments and how inscrutable His ways!” (Romans 11:33) “ Blessed be the name of God forever and ever, to whom belong wisdom and might. He changes times and seasons; He removes kings and sets up kings; He gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to those who have understanding; He reveals deep and hidden things; He knows what is in the darkness, and the light dwells with Him” (Daniel 2:20-22).    prayer ….Thank God for His gracious promise to give wisdom generously to those who lack it. Claim that promise for yourself by asking Him for it in faith  (James 1:5). Acknowledge to God that fools always think their way is right, but a wise person listens to advice (Proverbs 12:15). Ask the Lord to help you to be humble and teachable, willing to ask for and receive counsel from others. Confess to God your own responsi

Who are the Christians?

Who are the Christians? Christianity is a monotheistic Abrahamic religion based on the life and teachings of Jesus of Nazareth. It is important to understand that a person is not necessarily a Christian because he was born into a Christian nation, culture or home. Nobody in this world is naturally born a Christian. Even though a person may associate with or approve of Christian principles, that does not make him a Christian The human race is by nature completely corrupted by sin. These sins are known to every human on earth, Christians and non-Christians alike. For out of the heart come evil thoughts, murder, adultery, sexual immorality, theft, false testimony, slander, magic arts, impurity and many more. (Mark 7:21). All people are bound by these sins to a greater or lesser degree. Because of these sins, man is not acceptable to God; we are enemies of God because of it.  The Christian, then, is somebody who has come to an understanding of the seriousness of being an enemy o

Where's God?

Where's God? In our days at the primary school, we were told that God is omnipresent, which meant that He's present everywhere. So in the storm, flood, drought, turbulence, attack, ups and downs etc., God has never left us. He's always there on time. But sometimes it seems God isn't present during the storms. It seems He's no where to be found  in the storm. Yeah, we don't find Him there. This is it: During the storm, the atmosphere becomes blurred and you hardly see your way out, so though God will be right there but the atmosphere wouldn't let you see. So in that, He says, walk by FAITH not by SIGHT. This is why in the book of Romans, we are told that the just shall live by FAITH. the Christan walk has always been a FAITH WALK. It takes faith to acknowledge the presence of God during the storms, the challenges, the seasonal fluctuations in business. If you live in these period by what you only see, you will falter. He has said it in His word, that He w

You Talk Too Much, "Wokasa Dodo"

"Your own mouth ...." Listen to how the writer of proverbs coined it. Pro 17:28 - Even a fool, when he holdeth his peace, is counted wise: [and] he that shutteth his lips [is esteemed] a man of understanding . Today I want you to know that your own mouth can prevent you from getting to the top. It can fight your way up the success ladder. You talk too much. Your enemies now suffer not to get your information. You just open your mouth and pour it to them. But if today u can learn from this piece and bridle your tongue and close your lips, that long awaited dream can be a reality. ' Wokasa dodo' nti Susu kasa . If you talk plenty, you even expose your folly. Every bit of your life is now known by everyone around and even far away from you. What I know is that God normally keeps His children secret, nourished, safe, before bringing them out. So know when to speak, that's wisdom. You don't just speak because you want to speak but you should speak because you

Defy the urge to quit

Teaser: "Defy the urge to quit" Brethren, U cannot afford to drop that idea. U cannot afford to abandon that project. Before U even think of quitting, think about why U started that project in the first place. The challenges would surely appear. But history says winners have never quit, it's only losers. So I encourage you today, hold on to that dream, that idea, that project, that vision, and any other actualization. They have been appointed to be accomplished in their own time. So defy all urges to quit, cos the end of the tunnel is nearer than you think. Press on, u're almost there. There was once a swimmer who swam for about 5 hours and felt tired. He had a little energy and strength to prevail but he looked at his current situation and decided to come out of the water. He came out of the water only to find out that he was at the finished line. He needed a little press-on to obtain the crown but he gave up before his victory. God would always want you to suff

Purity pays

One proud question at church was this; so do you have a girlfriend? Proudly and unhesitatingly replied "No". Then I heard giggling and hisses 😇😇. U don't believe genuine spirituality exist ernhh?? The fact that even pastors are failing in that area doesn't tell all. Be there and be joking with the violent seekers. Who said in the days of Mary and Co, there were no spoilt brats, there existed so many of them but Mary was found, chaiiiiiii. How good it is to remain pure in this generation? You become a generic hero/heroine both on earth and in Heaven. Bless U violent kingdom seeker.

Leadership is for all

Leadership is for everyone Never underestimate yourself, when it comes to leadership. Whether young or old, the spirit of leadership lives in you. It's your ability to step into it courageously. You can be young but fully prepared for leadership. The brothers of David, were older than him but the inbuilt leadership capability in David triggered him to fight the philistine, Goliath. Change your mindset about leadership, the young can lead a group of elderly people. In the book of  Job, we were also told that wisdom lives not only in the aged, the young too. The secret is this, as coined by the late Dr Myles Munroe, when a lion leads a heard of sheep it will definitely overcome a heard of lion being led by a sheep. You can be a young lion leading a sheep of the aged. So step into your leadership capabilities now, because within every follower lies a crying spirit of leadership. God bless you.
